LOVE ME: The King’s first demand from His children. Wisely so, because all the other demands are rooted in and fulfilled in this first demand.
- Love Me with the greatest intensity you can muster. With all your emotions, all your intellect and all your will-power. I want to be the ‘greatest love of all’ in your life. I want exclusive rights to the throne in your heart. I have given My Son’s life in exchange for that right.
- Love Me wholly with your heart, not just your mouth. The love you have for Me should be the foundation for everything else in your life.
- Your devotions and religious activities should be based on the love you have for Me.
- The love you have for your family and all the people I have placed in your life should be based on your love for Me.
- Your obedience to my laws/commandments should be based on your love for Me and not your fear of punishment from Me.
- Your good deeds should all be done out of love for Me.
- The evidence of your love for Me as demanded in all the above will be the love you have for your brothers. My grace in you will facilitate that whenever you find it difficult.
- Do not neglect the natural love for yourself – take good care of your soul and your body. However, do not let that natural love become an unhealthy love that prioritizes you above others in everything. Do not be the center of your own universe. I am the center of your universe and everything you do should flow out from me and be based on what I stand for.
- Love is the tree on which all My laws hang upon. Without that tree of love, your acts of obedience to My laws float for a while and then crash down. Your spiritual gifts will not give Me any glory. Your good deeds will not bring honor to My name.
- Faith, hope and love. The greatest of them is love. Love is our language in heaven. Love is our currency in heaven. Love is the only virtue you will need in heaven. Practice it now, so that you will feel at home when you get to your heavenly home.
