Father, I come in the name of Jesus to confirm that it is indeed a good thing to give thanks to You always. In Your mercy, You have blessed me with a new day. It is my duty and privilege to praise You with with thankful songs, because gratitude always gives You pleasure.
This new day, I declare Your loving kindness over my family and I; over the work of our hands and the walk of our feet. I trust in Your providence and protection, and pray that we be guided by the light of Your Spirit in all that we do today. No matter what this day holds for us, because I have committed it into Your hands, I shall return to declare Your unflinching faithfulness at night in the name of Jesus.
I imagine myself in Your holy presence and joining my voice to that of the heavenly hosts, I praise You with all my senses in attendance, in spirit and in truth. Your Spirit gives me insight to see evidence of Your works all around me and inside of me, and I am overflowing with gladness. In addition, Your ultimate work of redemption through Jesus has given me a resounding victory over every spiritual battle. Thank You, Father.
Nobody can ever fully understand the way You work or the depth of Your mind. Your ways are always a pleasant surprise and Your plans for Your children are always for a glorious future. Because Your wisdom makes the wisest men look foolish, those who do not know or recognize You cannot understand how You work.
The wicked and unbelieving may grow in abundance and flourish quickly in their own strength, but their end is eternal destruction. But You O God, are Alpha and Omega, You live forever with Jesus at Your right hand in the highest heavens. There You preside as the Author of life and death over the judgment and destruction of those who oppose You, even as You scatter the congregations of the wicked.
But because of Your grace and mercy upon me through Jesus, You will cause me to be strengthened with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead; elevating me above my foes and anointing me with Your refreshing Spirit. As I operate under Your shadow, I choose to follow my Savior’s instructions and leave the fate of those who seek my downfall or lie in wait for my errors into Your hands. I know that You always have my back when I obey You.
Thank You Father, for my righteousness by grace. Like the Palm tree, my salvation in Jesus has qualified me to flourish and endure under thick and thin, as the Spirit continues to mold me towards perfection. Like the Cedar of Lebanon that was used for building Your Temples, Your Spirit is causing me to grow from grace to grace, and from strength to strength, as befits a tabernacle of Your Presence.
My roots are firmly anchored in Your Son Jesus, making Him the foundation of my life. He is the Vine and I am an offshoot of this Source of Life; hence my ability to bear abundant fruit within His Body, The community of believers. The renewing and refreshing work of Your Spirit in me will continue to flourish even as my flesh ages, enabling me to bear ripe fruit and give abundant, sweet testimonies into old age by God’s mercy. In this way, I will be an evidence of Your uprightness and Your faithfulness to Your own Word.
My Covenant-keeping God, let all this be done to me in the name of Your Son Jesus, and according to Your own Word. Amen.
